Richard Wengle began his career building custom-designed luxury homes. He started his own company, Richard Wengle Architects Inc. in 1992 and now has a staff of approximately 20 professional designers and architects. Since then, Wengle has garnered a reputation as the architect of choice for unique, boutique-style buildings such as One Thelma. Looking to architecture around the world for inspiration, Wengle has travelled widely, and has a personal collection of more than 60,000 photos from his global travels.
